Akademy 2009
Akademy is the annual developer conference and code camp for KDE developers and the annual meeting of the KDE community. Qt is the life line for the KDE project which all their software is built upon. Last year more than 250 persons attended the conference. In addition to a lot of coding and designing activities, there were more than 50 talks and BoF's during the conference.
This year the KDE Akademy developer conference is co-hosted with Gnome's GUADEC, the
annunal conference of the GNOME community. It will be a special event since it is a co-located event under
the umbrella name of Gran Canaria Desktop Summit. Akademy will be
sharing location as well as some parts of its program with GUADEC.
and the Palacio de Congresos in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. The event will span eight days and will feature an interesting mix of talks and presentations by outstanding KDE developers, joint development, coding sessions, workshops, and last but not least social activities.
