Abstract:
Qt, the cross-platform application and UI framework allows developers to write applications once and deploy them across desktop, mobile and embedded operating systems without rewriting the source code. Qt gives developers the ability to mix native and web UI development and allows widgets to share documents and presentations while accessing web content with less memory consumption. In this session, Qt Quick will be presented as the upcoming UI technology for rapid creation of dynamic and fluid UIs which developers can use to customize their MeeGo-based media phone UIs. Attendees will learn how Qt on MeeGo facilitates the creation of next-generation communication devices with high-quality multimedia features powered by the Intel Atom for improved performance, increased system responsiveness and power reduction.
