Qt 4.7 Beta 2, Qt Creator 2.1 Snapshots Available

Oslo, 08 July 2010 – Nokia today released a second Beta of Qt 4.7: the upcoming new version of its cross-platform application and UI framework.  Also available today are snapshots of Qt Creator version 2.1: the upcoming version of the Qt cross-platform integrated development environment.  Together, these releases provide a renewed opportunity to test and provide feedback on Qt Quick – the new high-level UI technology that enables developers and designers to work together to create animated, touch enabled UIs.

Qt Creator 2.1 Snapshots

Qt Creator 2.1 will include new functionality for easily creating applications with Qt Quick.  An early preview of the Qt Quick Designer (a WYSIWYG editor to lay out application UIs) is included, as well as support for working with Qt Quick projects, and editing and debugging QML code.
