Qt Creator IDE Preview
Qt Creator Technology Preview released
Qt Developer Days – Redwood City, California, 30 October 2008 – Qt Software today released a Technology Preview of Qt® Creator™ (previously known as Project Greenhouse) – the new, lightweight, cross-platform IDE for use with the Qt application framework. Preview packages are now available to commercial and open source users for download, testing and feedback.
The release previews a focused set of features tailored specifically to the needs of developers using Qt to create cross-platform applications:
- An advanced C++ code editor
- Integrated Qt Designer graphical layout and forms builder
- Context-sensitive help system
- Graphical front end to the GDB debugger
- Integrated cross-platform build tool

Download the Technology Preview
A preview of Qt Creator is now available under a special Technology Preview license. Packages are available for Windows®, Mac® and Linux®/X11 platforms. To download Qt Creator, visit the downloads page.
The final release of Qt Creator is currently scheduled for early 2009.
