Maintenance
In addition to assistance with product usage and product installation (on supported platforms), the Standard Support and Maintenance program provides commercial Qt license holders with valid support and maintenance agreements:
Access to new Qt releases
Customers with active Support and Maintenance licenses are entitled to all Qt releases. This includes both maintenance releases and new product versions.
Maintenance releases (x.y.z+1) typically include:
- Bug fixes caused by changes to previously working code.
- Bug fix issues on supported platforms.
- Fixes defects specific to a single platform that are not present on other platforms.
- Fix critical defects, including (but not limited to): crashes, data corruption, loss of data, race conditions.
- Update documentation and license information when necessary.
Non-critical fixes that do not meet the above requirements will be reserved for later product versions.
New product versions are typically released up to four times a year and include new functionality, in addition to bug fixes and enhancements.
Access to daily snapshots
On selected products we make daily snapshots of the current code available to customers. Snapshot versions are not supported, but provide quick turnaround times for bug reports.
