Nokia Certified Qt DeveloperTo become a Nokia Certified Qt Developer, you must pass the Qt Essentials Exam. Programming skills and regular hands-on development experience with Qt are necessary to pass the exam. Candidates at this level prove that they posses fundamental Qt knowledge and skills. |
Nokia Certified Qt SpecialistYou will reach the level of Nokia Certified Qt Specialist if you have already reached the level Nokia Certified Qt Developer and passed at least one of the specialized exams. Candidates at this level prove their expertise in selected areas of programming with Qt. |
About Your Certificates
Immediately after taking an exam, you will receive a result report informing you of whether or not you have passed. If you've passed, you will receive a certificate 4-6 weeks after having taken the exam.

The certificate is a high quality document which includes your name and the date when you passed the exam. Each specialized exam passed will be documented on the Nokia Certified Qt Specialist certificate. A new updated certificate will be reissued with every exam taken.
Make sure to keep the result report that you received after completing the exam. This report is the official proof that you have attended the exam. (Information about how certificates are delivered can be found here.)
About Your Logos
Once you've passed the Qt Essentials Exam, you've earned the Nokia Certified Qt Developer designation.
Not only will you have a title but a logo as well. This means that you may now use the Nokia Certified Qt Developer logo on your personal website, in email footers for personal and professional email addresses, in C.V., on social networking websites, at conferences and events where the certified developer is holding a presentation and on business cards. Once a Nokia Certified Qt Developer has passed at least one of the specialized exams, he/she will be able to use the Nokia Certified Qt Specialist logo. Download the logo. |

NOTE: There are size and space requirements as well as color restrictions to which you must adhere. We ask that you please download the trademark guidelines and review the trademark guidelines before using any of the logos.
Relevance: The Qt Essentials Exam is relevant to all Qt 4.x releases, since it covers fundamentals of Qt. Specialized exams are relevant to Qt 4.5 and later releases.
Validity: The Qt Certification designations, certificates and logos have no expiration date and are valid worldwide! All assessments are subject to continuous improvements and corrections, meaning that released exams may be modified for quality improvement purposes. However, these modifications will not effect the validity of an already passed exam. Attained exam results have no expiration date, but refer to the version of the exams and the version of the curriculum covered.
