Adam, Till

As a senior engineer at KDAB, Till Adam spends his working days in the trenches of Qt. He has helped make Qt projects a success at both start-up and fortune 500 companies across the globe, taught all aspects of Qt to people with a wide range of backgrounds and architected and implemented solutions in many different problem domains using Qt. He is a long-term contributor to Free Software, particularly KDE, and coordinates KDAB's activities in that field.


Adam, Till and Boehm, Mirko

As senior engineers at KDAB, Till Adam and Mirko Boehm spend their working days in the trenches of Qt. They've helped make Qt projects a success at start-up and fortune 500 companies across the globe, taught all aspects of Qt to people with a wide range of backgrounds and architected and implemented solutions in many different problem domains using Qt. They are both long-term contributors to Free Software, in particularly KDE. Both live with their families in Berlin, Germany.

 

Bache-Wiig, Jens

Jens is a Software Engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks. He holds a M.Sc. in computer science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He is a pixel perfectionist and likes to focus on styling and platform integration.

 

Barron, Jason

Jason is a Software Engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks. After a 3 year career working with embedded Linux in the Qt Support team, he transferred into the Development team to lend his experience in helping to port Qt to Symbian OS. Jason holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the Memorial University of Newfoundland.

 

Bastian, Thierry

Thierry is a software engineer who joined Trolltech in 2006. He comes from France where he graduated in Computer Science from Nancy Engineering School ESIAL. Prior to joining Qt Software he spent 4 years working as a software engineer leading Qt-based projects. Now he spends most of his time working on multimedia, animations and other widgets-related tasks.

 

Blomberg, Jukka

Jukka Blomberg is a Technology Marketing Manager at Nokia Devices in Helsinki. He holds an M.Sc. in computer science from the Helsinki University of Technology. He is PMI certified PMP as well as certified scrummaster. He is responsible for promoting application and service innovation on Nokia’s devices and platforms. Jukka joined Nokia in 2005, and held a variety of positions in software development. He was the software project manager for Nokia's first NFC devices.

 

Bornemann, Joerg

Joerg is a software engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks in Berlin and fights monsters in the dark dungeons of Windows CE and the Visual Studio Add-in. He holds a M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Rostock.

 

Bugge Monsen, Marius

Marius is a Senior Software Engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks and leads the Qt Widgets Team. He holds a M.Sc. in computer science from the Norwegian University if Science and Technology (NTNU). When he is not working on providing stateful, animated, beautiful Qt-based user-interfaces, he spends time in the local climbing-gym, pretending he is conquering Everest.

 

Christiansen, Kenneth

Kenneth Christiansen is a Technical Leader and Software Engineer at the Brazilian Nokia Technology Institute, INdT, where he has worked on several applications focused on user experience and mobile devices. Beyond his interest in exploring new ideas for developing the next generation applications, Kenneth stays focused on the latest web technologies as a team member of the Qt WebKit Integration team. Kenneth holds a MSc degree in Computer Science in the field of Software Engineering/Computational Science and Visualization.

 

Cunha, Leo

Leo is a Software Engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks. He is currently working on the future graphics capabilities of Qt through the Qt Kinetic project. Leo holds a MSc degree in the field of mobile digital TV. He joined Qt Software in the beginning of this year and is still getting used to the Norwegian weather. Previously, he worked atINdT (Nokia Technology Institute) developing several applications focusing on mobile devices.

 

Fernengel, Harald

Harald Fernengel is a software engineer working on Qt since 2001. He has had several roles within the company, including a brief visit to professional services. Nowadays, he enjoys embedded programming and contributing to KDE.

 

Hakkari, Ilkka

Ilkka Hakkari is a senior software developer and Qt trainer at Tieto. He has 10 years experience of software development. He is familiar with S60, Windows, Linux and also embedded platforms. He has been Qt enthusiast for a decade and is currently working in a S60 Qt project. On his free time he likes to make robots to work as his minions.

 

Hansen, Kent

Kent is a Software Engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks in Oslo. He holds an M.Sc. in computer science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His work mainly revolves around making sure that Qt has a seamless JavaScript integration. He's also deeply involved in the Qt State Machine Framework.

 

Hausmann, Simon

Simon Hausmann is a software engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks, working on Qt and WebKit. When he's not being dragged into boring meetings he likes to write code and help convert development teams to git.

 

Hidayat, Ariya

Ariya is a software engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks in Oslo. He is an open-source advocate for almost a decade, writing code for projects like KDE, WebKit and of course Qt. He posts lots of examples for Qt Labs Blogs on a biweekly basis, under the pretext of attracting more developers to use Qt (and hopefully grabbing the Most Prolific Blogger award). Ariya obtained his PhD in the field of high-speed optical communications. He speaks English with an Asian accent and cannot play any musical instruments.

 

Hundhammer, Stefan

Stefan Hundhammer, Senior Qt Architect and Trainer at basysKom GmbH, has more than 20 years experience in software development at famous multinational companies like Novell / SuSE and Siemens. His background is Linux and Unix system programming and application development with C++, Qt, X11 and he is the software architect of the Linux system installer YaST2. He is always targeting the creation of robust, durable and  maintainable code, focusing on usability, build systems and configuration management. His industry background is related to operating system development, document management, medical image archiving and work flows. Based on this background and experience he is coaching other developers in developing Qt software, deploying software engineering techniques. Johnson, David

David is a Senior Qt Software Engineer for Integrated Computer Solutions (ICS), a Qt Certified partner. He provides user interface and object oriented design expertise and has taught multiple Qt training courses. He has been using Qt since 1999. David came to the world of software engineering through a degree in Literature. He currently lives in Mountain View, California where he dabbles in Open Source development and homebrewing.

 

Kosonen, Pekka

Pekka is working as Head of Technology Development in Forum Nokia and has a long experience from mobile development with several technologies.

 

Lebovitz, Gregg

As a Qt Certified trainer and consultant, Gregg has taught over 40 onsite and open enrollment courses nationwide, including both Qt 3 and Qt 4 Programming classes. He has also designed and written three Qt training courses on Qt Designer, Qt Designer Plugins, and QImages/QThreads. These courses were integrated by Nokia’s Qt Frameworks into their Qt curriculum. In addition to his teaching expertise, Gregg is experienced in Qt development on desktop applications and embedded systems. He received his Masters in Engineering from Carnegie Melon University and is currently living in Boston, MA.

 

Levine, Oren

Oren Levine is a Senior Technology Marketing Manager in Nokia's Devices organization responsible for promoting application and service innovation on Nokia’s devices and platforms. Oren joined Nokia in 2001, and held a variety of positions in product management, software development, and standardization. Before joining Nokia, Oren worked for over 10 years as a software engineer and architect, gaining experience in wide range of areas including 3D graphics, machine translation, Web application development and database design. Oren earned an M.S. degree in software engineering from Northeastern University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from MIT.

 

Luddy, Alex

Alex Luddy is a product manager at the Australian office at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks. He has also been a software engineer and a professional services consultant during his 4 years with the organization. His main focus is embedded development. Alex Luddy has a Bachelor of Software Engineering from the Australian National University.

 

Macieira, Thiago

Thiago Macieira, Senior Product Manager at Nokia, Qt Developer Frameworks originally joined Trolltech in 2006. Since joining the company, Thiago has worked as a developer and release manager for Qt. Based in Oslo, Norway, he has an MBA and a double degree in Engineering. These days, Thiago spends the majority of his time thinking about the future of Qt, and giving presentations to anyone and everyone that will listen!

 

Menard, Alexis

Alexis Menard is a Software Engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks in Oslo. He holds a M.Sc. in computer science from Toulouse 3 University (France). Before joining the team of Qt developers, he was involved in the KDE project - mainly in Plasma where he brought new features and helped in various areas. In 2008, he became part of Qt Widget Team where he now spend most of his time on Qt Graphics View framework.

 

Minenko, Vladimir

Vladimir Minenko works as a Programme Manager at Nokia, Qt Development Framework in the Munich office. His main focus are several projects in Qt Learning. His experience started with R&D on distributed multimedia and mobile systems in 1994. Later on as developer and team lead in Java (J2SE/J2ME), Symbian/S60, Qtopia, BREW and Palm OS projects. Vladimir extended his engineering experience with one year of work in product marketing. A software integration project with several partners was his last work at Trolltech before it was acquired by Nokia. Vladimir studied Computer Science in Russia, Germany and in the U.S.A. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from University of Ulm, Germany.

 

Nilsen, Bjørn Erik

Bjørn Erik Nilsen is a Software Engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks in Oslo. His forte is underneath Qt's hood: the nitty gritty parts of Graphics View, Widget Rendering, Graphics Effects, Backing Store, Alien Widgets, etc. In his spare time he explores the outskirts of Oslo on his Suzuki SV1000s.

 

Niolet, Katrina

Katrina has actively developed with Qt since 2004. She is experienced with not only developing Qt applications, but also with Qt's innerworkings and with complex multi-language library integrations. She is anactive member of the Open Source community and has given talks on topics ranging from C++ software development to Linux-based telecommunications. In addition to her role as a Software Engineer, Katrina manages KDAB's Houston office and has held Qt trainings in Finland, the United States, and Canada.

 

Pokrzywka, Romain

Romain has worked as a Qt consultant at KDAB since 2004. When he's not on the road teaching Qt or helping project teams meeting their deadlines, he works on Qt projects with a focus on advanced graphics, for both desktop and embedded platforms. After growing up in France and living in Sweden, Romain is currently relocating to the Bay Area to join his American colleagues. He holds a Master's degree in software engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) of Lyon, France.

Portale, Alessandro

Alessandro Portale is a software engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks in Berlin and enjoys porting Qt to Symbian. He holds a M.Sc. in computer science.

 

Poulain, Benjamin

Benjamin is a support engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks in Oslo. He holds a M.Sc. in computer science from the Université libre de Bruxelles.

 

Pyssysalo, Tino

Tino Pyssysalo has worked as a senior SW specialist in Digia for eight years. During that time, he has got involved in numerous S60 and Symbian related projects. For the last three years, he has been actively written Qt software as well. Before joining Digia, he worked as a professor of embedded systems at the university of Oulu Finland. Currently, he is responsible for the training services in Digia and running a team, delivering Qt and mobile SW platform -specific training courses worldwide.

 

Verbruggen, Erik

Erik Verbruggen is a software engineer at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks in Berlin. He joined the team in the beginning of this year, but is still not used to eating currywurst or playing kicker. After creating infrastructure software for banks and utility companies in previous jobs, he currently enjoys working on tool development for Qt. He holds a M.Sc. in computer science from the Radboud University Nijmegen.
