This year we will have four different training tracks covering the most popular Qt topics. All tracks are full-day tracks, and it will not be possible to change track at the event. Please note that we have limited capacity for these popular training sessions to ensure a high quality learning experience for the attendees.

Qt Essentials

This track provides a very basic introduction to Qt with modules taken from our extremely popular 3-day Qt Essentials training course.
We will cover topics like QObjects, Signal&Slots, Events, Painting, Standard Widgets and everything that is needed to create your first application.
Prerequisites: working knowledge of C++ programming, previous Qt experience is not required Training style: interactive, hands-on
Qt Model/View & Multithreading

Attendees will get an introduction to the concepts of both Model/View and Multithreading programming, and how to make use of Qt's Model/View architecture and Thread support in Qt.Prerequisites: 12 months or more of Qt C++ programming

Qt Quick for C++ Developers

In this track we introduce Qt Quick - the new Qt User Interface Creation Kit. Qt Quick is a high-level user interface technology that makes it significantly easier for UI designers and developers with scripting language skills to create beautiful, pixel perfect UIs and lightweight, touch-enabled apps with Qt. Qt Quick will be part of the Qt 4.7 release, scheduled for Q3 2010.
We will cover UI elements, states and animations, user input, components and interfacing QtQuick with C++.

Qt Mobile Development for Nokia Devices

Join us for the Qt Mobile Development for Nokia Devices training and build your Qt application ready to be published in Ovi Store. The course is targeted to developers who are familiar with C++ and want to gain insight on the newest features on Qt development for mobile devices, especially on the Symbian platform with N8 and other Symbian^3 devices.
